We believe in the power of summer camp! Children are so valuable, and summer camp is one of the ways we are able to pour into their lives spiritually. Did you know that research suggests that one week of summer camp is equivalent to an entire YEAR of Sunday school, both spiritually and relationally. Summer camp not only opens kids up spiritually through all of the new experiences they are having, but it also allows them to feel connected and engaged with your church, their peers, and their leaders. Summer camp gives us an opportunity to break out of our normal week-to-week curriculum to present the gospel and give children a space to respond to it, as well as give them a chance to learn how to engage with scripture and the Holy Spirit!

Vineyard Summer Camp began in 2017, and since then over 400 children have had the opportunity to experience the presence of God at camp! Our values inform everything we do: our worship can be fun, rowdy, and intimate; the Bible is what we teach from and what we teach kids to read; real relationships are formed through the fun, chaotic, mundane, and hard moments of camp; and God’s presence is our priority to cultivate and discern.

Our goal is that each child who attends camp will leave engaged, equipped, and empowered to live a life with Jesus, and that they’ll have a ton of fun!
